Who we are:
New Sound DJs is a mobile/event disc jockey (DJ) business located in the Valdese, NC area. We cover all types of events, from those small backyard BBQs, Birthdays, Weddings, Graduations all the way up to the local high school prom or community car show. We have one of the largest music selections in the Western North Carolina area and we use professional sound & lighting systems for our events to provide the up most quality of entertainment. And our prices are reasonable. No event is to small or big. We will even put some miles on our rig if need be! Contact us today to reserve us for your event!!!
How it all started:
I first stepped into the world of entertainment while still in high school. It began announcing my high school’s baseball home games. While still in school I got a job at the local AM radio station. From there I began covering a few small parties for friends and family on the weekends and still announcing baseball games during the week. It didn’t take long until I started getting many calls for various events. From that moment on, everything took off! From equipment upgrades to hosting high school proms, the business has continued to grow. I’m truly thankful for being able to do something I enjoy and bring enjoyment to those around me as well.
Our Staff:
Ryan, a native of Burke County, NC and Appalachian State Alumni, has always had an interest in technology. While in high school, Ryan began announcing baseball games for his alma mater and playing a few tunes to keep the game running smoothly during innings. "Watching the crowd react to some of the old baseball favorites, coming over the speakers, made me feel like I had a connection with the fans even though I wasn't the one they were watching on the field. I saw the enjoyment fans got out of hearing some of the songs that had been played as they were growing up and it made me want to make that impact on others as well."
